How does a customer not qualify for a Voice Link? Verizon is abandoning the copper network, that's for sure, and will grab as many of the customers before selling off the rotted out carcass.
It takes one technician 30 minutes to install a Voice Link, But it could take anywhere from 2 hours to 8 hours+ to repair one copper line giving the condition of the plant right now. It could also require a minimum of 3 technicians if they have to open a manhole, and go underground to repair that line.
If you do the math, (time,Money) this is not going to change. But good luck going in front of a judge trying to terminate someone for doing the job they were hired, and trained to do for the past 20 years on a plant that Verizon still owns, and is required to maintain as per state regulations.
Verizon will Lose. Stop with the threatening scare tactics, and harassment.....Find another way to screw your paying customers.
