Gartland worked under Steve huckvale who lead with a long history of transfer price manipulation within the international group.
Accumulated losses in Europe during the 1990s were s—ed up by lopsided prices for the same products with massive differiantiation between various divisions. Meanwhile corporate turned a blind eye to what was happening. Pacific under heartland promoted the view openly that they would make profits where it was most tax effective- shifting costs from Japan to lower margin areas like India. Happened with Huckvale and copied by Gartland.
banned by south Korean government for inappropriate gouging of defense contracts...what a disaster and crooked managr. who paid for these mistakes he was chased for?
Terrible boss who was more interested in kissing butt then meeting with customers. Always making dumb business decisions which in the end cost the company much too much money.
Fooled a lot of people and trashed the Moog finances.
About time he was found out and should have happened much sooner. Too aggressive without due diligence. Poor governance hidden from head office. A terrible Pacific culture that ruined many careers for good people. Worst person I've ever worked for. A true bully.
Sean was always better at kissing butt than doing the hard work and actually meeting with customers. So no surprise here
He got fired for being a shi**y visionary.
