Hired as a lineman in 1986 in New England at $6.25. Every job title has a starting wage rate and then tops out. The job titles vary in wage compensation. It took me 5 years to reach top pay in the wage table I was in as step raises came every 6 months. Nobody starts out in the company at the top. They used to step to the second year in certain job titles if you had an associates.

@JQtbVDG-1dvu---two different sides to the company. Let me educate you on the way it works, since your so ignorant to the facts. The LANDLINE aka Wireline side makes $40 or more an hour. The WIRELESS aka cellphone side makes around $11-12 an hour. Quite a difference. Also, if you don't work your a$$ off and dont perform well on the wireless side, you get found out and let go quickly. Most of the people who have been "judged" has you like to put it, are the good ones who made the wireless side what is. Most have been around 9 or more years and this is the thanks we get.

I think your confusing wireless with landline. We are extremely underpaid and make extremely less than landline.
Example I started at 11 per hr.
Landline union employees make > $25 per hour.
After years of bad treatment I'm glad it's over. It's sad but now everyone can see how Teriable this company is.
No, It's judgment day. it's just the beginning of getting rid of the Verizon cash cow for employees that did nothing all week and collected a far greater salary than they're worth or deserve. Verizon is full of people that hide and do nothing or just try and look busy all week. Managers that manage managers that are managing managers for christ sakes. All incompetent. Good riddance. You know it's a well paid sweet cushy do nothing job when you see these many people crying over losing it.
