In the name of cost cutting, strange practices are being followed. Very unethical new hiring , travel etc just to clean up hard working people and transfer Varco loyalists to key positions. Waiting for a report from US, UK and Mid East and it will be interesting reading. Mr. Williams has got his work cut out for sure. Highly incompetent rookie senior HR doesn't help either and it's a matter of time before some big heads should roll for the sake of the sustainability of the company.

Agree Clay may not influence but he does hv a responsibility to da company and its employees to ensure these unfair practices don't take place. Someone once said 'complaining to compliance and Internal audit about any Varco guy is of no use'. The case is dismissed. Voila! Cest la vie!
Mr Williams doesn't influence or promote/transfer key Varco loyalists at all, that's down to his lackeys in the Pres & VP positions. Those employed in these positions, certainly don't any business sense at all, otherwise NOV wouldn't be in this mess at all.
