Great place with strong leaders. Anyone that has negative comments either did something wrong to get cut out or was hurting because they chose to live a lifestyle they couldn't afford.

What you say is true on both sides of the street at Bammel. There is a common thread that binds most of those that remain.
What Joe has failed to realize is that AM has been marginally successful IN SPITE of the current management, not as a result of it. The group’s lack of innovation and absolute hatred of the customer is indicative in their reputation and stature in the industry… and that’s NOV’s service organization is expensive, inconsistent, and unresponsive. This is especially the case in Houston.
Houston Service is the epitome of the good ole’ boys’ club – cronyism at its finest. If you put someone in the middle they’ll get frozen out by those above and below them. If you put someone at the top, they’ll get undercut by those below them. You put anyone at the bottom and they’ll get run off by those in the middle. You can’t win.
Not only that, they’re shady. If I shared what I knew about all the underhanded stuff they’ve done, I’d be fired in a heartbeat.
Why does upper management keep looking away and let middle management supervisors keep their personal friends and let hard workers go by the wayside. If this company is going to grow into something "world Class", then the office families must be broken up and separated.
Also the heart of all the Aftermarket f--- ups.
Seriously? Bammel is a cornerstone for Aftermarket and there's too many of Jerry Matus's, Kevin Flowers' and Billy Gill's cronies to close. Where would they go?
