Some people would see this as a wake up call but a lot of others ignore or are oblivious. When the next round of layoffs happens it will be interesting to see if they can save all of the people they protect. If you feel victimized and uncomfortable talking with HR then go consult with an attorney who specializes in employment law for the little guy. If the evidence is compelling they won't charge you anything to represent based on the settlement they believe may be possible. Google is your friend.

Does any of this really matter at this point? What's more telling is how much interest was generated and based on the comments she doesn't sound like a very nice person. Trying to change that perception is for her to sort out within herself. If she thinks she has loyalty that seems pretty fragile now.

Dictating a hire and salary for one employee to a vendor you manage is forbidden by the code of conduct. Extorting? But since Follett payed for it, Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot who cares, it came of the Family's bottom line. Probably pales in comparison to what they paid MLS to go away. It's the two faced BS that's annoying. With the maintenance thing it's all those that never had a chance because they were never considered. Kind of like the KH hire but he went away.

It will never be looked into. It's a corrupt system led by corrupt leaders. At this point everybody at or near the top just wants to get everything they can out of the company until the well is dry and the brand no longer exists. How can anyone believe anything that comes out of a Follett exec's mouth? All credibility is gone at this point. Has been for some time. Such a shame as I really loved this company before 2013. That feeling will never ever return for me as much as I'd like the story to be different.

You're supposed to hire the most qualified candidate for a position no matter their race, creed, or color. That's what equal opportunity means. The fix was in. Review the pay history of BF and compare and contrast to others that work for DM. Ask yourself why BF was doing tasks that union maintenance staff should have been doing. What a genius he is implementing DE's projects and taking credit for them because he was connected. A large group at the ADC knows this but they're intimidated into keeping their mouths shut.

Read the previous post. The company has policies (Code of Conduct) that is supposed to be adhered to. Nothing was investigated. Follett is a private company, they can do anything they want. The thing I find amusing is there is a large number that know exactly what is going on but bully boy knows and is covering it up or is really too dense to get it.

Just drink the Kool-Aid and believe what you want. The process was followed as outlined in the code of conduct and nothing was investigated and nothing was done. I never sent or received classified emails. I mean I never sent or received emails marked classified (warms your heart to think they would mark a classified email as classified so the bad guys wouldn't waste their time on useless emails!). What a joke.

No longer with the company but the vendor told me about the BF nonsense and ask my advice. I didn’t know that FO was Mr. Heat but my advice was an anonymous letter to Mr. Heat and a copy to a family board member to insure no cover up. I figured the company would be quick to fix this. I was wrong. FO never fails. Ask him, he'll tell you. Talk about somebody that needs to be institutionalized.
