Get two buddies together and file a petition at the US Dept of Labor for TAA (Trade Adjustment Assistance). If any of your jobs are going overseas, and it certainly sounds like it, you can at least get some financial support for re-training, health insurance, unemployment benefit extensions, etc.
Assert yourself and declare your value! Don't allow IBM to take anything from you they did not give you in the first place.
