Make your annual donation to your favorite charity NOW while you are still employed and can get the company to match. Think of it as a termination fee you charge the company. If you are still employed when the dust settles, make ANOTHER donation to show solidarity with those who didn't make the cut.

If I am going to be unemployed, why would I hurt my own bank account just to get COP back. They can afford a donation much more than me, especially if I have no income....
