Ryan Lance is holding a town hall meeting September 14 in Bartlesville right in the middle of the layoffs. Is Ryan going to announce phasing out and closing of Bartlesville? It makes sense to centralize everything at the corporate center in Houston there is enough room. This would not only eliminate the need for two daily shuttle flights but will improve overall workforce moral.

Well you don't have to worry about the shuttle anymore! There are no more shuttle flights to Bartlesville. Cost saving measure implemented today!
All you dumfucks talking out your gassy a--, for starters the cost of the shuttle to Bville is shared with Phillips66. Half of it is payed by us, if you ever got on it you would know but since you are a NOBODY that works a sh--ty job at Conoco you dont know sh--.
Stop speculating about Bville as if you knew the economic savings of being in Bville as opposed to Houston, you dont, so STFU.
All of you listen to yourself before you post nonsense, truly, you all have no idea of nothing. If you did you would not be wasting time on this sh--ty site.
I hope all you turds get let go, Conoco needs to get rid of all you pu--y kids.
After next week the few remaining Houston employees can easily be moved to Bartlesville to fill in a few admin spots.
JhTpBrm-1cdg leave your number and I'll call next week.
The Warn notice covers Cop if there are 500 or more laid off in Houston but does not obligate COP to lay off 500 or more if it doesn't work out that way.
@1ndf...your math is wrong. Houston will have at the very least 500 layoffs, otherwise they would not have issued a WARN notice in Houston. It's ok though, that just makes more space in Houston for it to easily absorb Bartlesville roles and shut down Bartlesville once and for all. I do agree that's the right move, just hope they've got the stones to do it..
They are Phillips employees let Phillips 66 have them!
Nobody believes any of that cr-p!
Sh-t Bartlesville d-wn now! We can become s lot leaner and more efficient without them!
ha! "-1fvc"
quality & amount of work...
call me Thursday afternoon from yer personal cell (because you'll be unemployed by then) and remind me how fkng relevant you are...
Good Luck! Someone still has a sense of humor in this place! It may still exist just not in COP. Maybe as a museum?
Bartlesville may fade away but it will always exist
This time is the key, yes Bartlesville may not lose as many as they should but it will lose. Centralizing will take place and Bartlesville will be obsolete. What Bartlesville did to Ponca City will happen to it!
Sounds like some of you will be shocked by how little Bartlesville will be impacted this time. The quality and amount of work done here at much lower cost than big city employees is well known. We are here to stay.
I hope I get transferred out of here! I would welcome a transfer to Houston! This place is the end of the world and career opportunities! If I get laid off I'm screwed because I won't be able to sell my house!
He's going to tell them the count will be 300 Canada, 300 Houston, and 400 Bartlesville, with the rest to be phased out soon!
Everyone with a brain knows this should happen. This apparently excludes Bartlesville natives. Nobody has the grapes to actually do it though in my estimation.
Bartlesville is history and no longer needed. Everyone knows that it's going to be closed its just a matter of when. The sooner the better for the company!
BVL is BFE, and always will be, so don't get yer hopes up about moving Houston functions to BFE...that's just stupid, dumb--s. pretty sure the UW golf tourney is the only reason uncle ryan is coming to town. tax write off for the trip in the peon-funded jet, yo.
you ignorant sumbitches still don't get how this game works, do you?
Shutdown Houston and move everything to Bartlesville. I think that would improve overall workforce moral. Less commuting time for everyone who makes the cut.
Ryan has come to Bville for the last several years for the United Way golf tournament. He does this townhall in conjunction with UW, but this year - the campaign itself was pushed back while the golf tournament is still being held next week.
