I heard Galena Park might be shutting down the second qtr of 2017!!! Apparently they have all new management in each department that don't have a clue on wth they are doing. I even heard 2 of the managers came out of accounting. They have a big hard for Oracle and big believes that the system will fix all the problems there.

The warehouse manager is the former accounting manager...makes sense.
The materials manager, when introducing himself said "I know nothing about purchasing". Makes even more sense.
The operations manager from Brazil knows nothing about building rigs and sounds like a new age hippie tree-hugger who likes to talk about your feelings. Makes the most sense of all.
I miss the good old days when your boss could tell you you're an a--hole and vice versa without any repercussions.

Are you kidding me? Oracle is what helped shut our location down. The "support team" had no interest in how Oracle could be used to improve our operations, let alone taking time to teach us how to use it. Caused nothing but confusion. Seemed a case of the tool being more important than the work to be done. We were once proud leaders in our field. Now we are a dead product line.
