Are they going to stop at laying off 90 in Bartlesville or is it going to continue? We have been constantly losing people since the last layoff and now at least 90 more! I would like to transfer out of this place but we are in a death spiral and no one but top managers are allowed out. How long before we get a chance to transfer to Houston or get severance to leave? What about our houses if we get severance?

Everybody knows that Bartlesville is there except a few that live there! You can ask anyone if they would prefer to go to Bartlesville for their career or would they prefer Houston?

I saw the writing on the wall back in 2012, asked to transfer to Houston and got the relo by convincing everyone what a great idea it was. I made it through the first two layoffs and quit for a better job this past spring. Sold my house in 24hrs and moved far far away. Didn't trust them and knew my best chance to get away without losing everything was to get out of Bville.
Completely agree that they are not finished with the carnage in Bartlesville. If you want to get out, and who could blame you, you need to look outside COP. If you're lucky you might a find a new job with relo to a new city. You'll still have a heck of time selling your house, but at least you'd have a job. If you sit tight in Bartlesville to see what happens in a few months, there's a better than 70% chance you'll have no job and a house you can't sell or afford. Run Forest, run.
