It's standard language and it's the law that terminated employees have to be offered cobra. If you consider that then consider situations where company closed or files bankruptcy and what labor Dept says I wouldn't wait around to long for cobra cuz it isn't coming safe or sorry each ones own decision but the company has screwed everyone so who wants to wait

I called Chad Snyder today, and they do not have info yet. I called Cigna today as well, and the representative read an email update they received saying COBRA would be available. I want to say I believe that because last week when I called they had no information. Benefits were showing active until this morning as I've been logging in every day.

True .. When company closes there is no health plan to continue . Called Dept of labor snd it was confirmed and if file chapter 7 is filed again no cobra if cheaper 11 which its not going to be there would be slight hope ... So start shopping and even though this is a life change event, health coverage is only effective at 1st of month .

Dental vision can be picked up immediately but not health so consider a short term health plan until nov 1 while you pick up short term policy in mean time . Get started now and the cobra rep through Cigna only goes to vm Cassandra Dillon and won't return calls .. Cobra is through Chad Snyder Google company and they will just take name number email and tell you to shop . They have no info at this time . Itt has provided nothing to them
