Place is horrible, leadership has only worked for the same company or acquired companies. Have about as much of a chance of being a tech company as I do becoming Santa Clause. If you get whacked, your going to be better off. Filled with B and C players. A players would get the heck out as soon as they figured out the place is a loser.

Nobody has time to quit because they lay people off left and right. Constantly hiring new people so they can lay the old ones off.
No one ever has to quite, Layoffs come like clock work right before the holidays. Now in the process of axing 3300 so they can merge again while stocks are plummeting. Corp preaches high principles while working bad deals and spewing lies and getting in trouble for stock fraud. Hmmm.
I think it's a sad testament to this company when people you work with ask you if you feel like you've just been paroled when you tell them you're leaving. The only reason why more people haven't left yet is only because the job market is just now starting to come back. People are tired of living in fear of getting laid off every year. The Centurylink Christmas bonus is a pink slip, nice touch for a family before the holidays.
You get paid by CL, right?
It's funny how folks bad mouth a company that feeds them. It must not be too bad or there would be folks leaving on their own...
