Nonetheless, and personally speaking, the only announcement that mattered to me this week was what Nidal said on his call yesterday: he is staying! I couldn't care less about what happens to KJK, Dave, and the other goons running this sinking ship. I have been here for more than 10 years now, and I am so glad my leader gives a f---ing damn about who actually pays the bills: our customers and partners! Someone who still flies to meet customers in Europe, give them some confidence, and his sales guys some hope that there's eventually a light at the end of the tunnel. All of this while the big kahunas in Santa Clara are crunching the numbers of their big, fat golden parachutes. I'd take Nidal EVERYDAY for 100's of the f---tards who ran this company to the ground!

nothing being sold so far.....its all rumors....even if they sold networking it wont help much...they need 6B$ which is whole Avaya. its good if someone take over complete Avaya. We have to wait for 1 more month to get some real news.....but yes there is everyday layoffs and more to come
With Networking being sold, is everyone in that BU being cut or moved to the new company?

Yeah, but Jim C is now the head of sales and his ambition is to sink the ship as quickly as possible and walk away with his winnings... You may be there 10 years, i doubt you'll make it to 11. Networking is sold, it's just taking longer than planned to dot the i's, (unfortunately along with the good people there are some dumb stupid people who can't do the job so nothing ever meets schedule) Once Networking is cut loose the plan is to split the company, Jim takes Hardware and Kevin takes services along with CC and UC, Kevin's company is put up for sale and looks very attractive, Jim's company goes chapter 11 and they bring the debt with it...If you are in hardware you are gone, and you will get nothing so don't hold out for something, if you're in services, you'll be cut to make the numbers work to sell. Either way all gone, the only reason people are hanging on is severance, if they offered voluntary severance outside the US they'd be seriously over subscribed.
I could not agree more. If we had more people like him in leadership positions, we wouldn't be facing this crisis now. Selling is only being considered now because of the failure of our most senior corporate idiots and investors making self-serving decisions about how to run the company.
