The fiscal year is closing next week, Q4 earning reports are coming out in early November, stores are negative comp with declining sales and the air is thick with uncertainty of layoffs.

no use worrying about it. Use it as a heads up to find something else. I understand company is trying to increase profit by reducing labor due to the competition in a now saturated market. However, the reductions are so deep that standard day to day operations cannot take place. You can't sell what's not on the shelf. Conditions are taking a hit to. I think combined teams will cost the company more than it saves.
Wait, doesn't the FY start on monday? Or, is it on 10/3?
The earnings call will have lots of "moving forwards"
