They said the same thing about NOV/Chemineer North Andover being invincible & never being shut down. Don't get too comfortable, this company is ruthless. From what I hear no one can even build the mixers that North Andover manufactured. Which is sad, because I've never worked with a bigger bunch of id--ts than at North Andover. Which makes me wonder about the current intelligence level of the business.
United (UNION) we stand in Dayton Ohio.
There were multiple factors that caused the demise of the Springfield plant. I worked in Texas for the company but saw the issues the unions caused constantly with management and now instead of making a great $$$ per hour they are making 0 per hour. NOV didn't want to deal with it and moved manufacturing to other locations and states that were more business friendly . . Its Sad really alot of History and good people there ....
How long is the long run?
Chemineer in Dayton seems invincible . . . It has always survived in spite of itself.
Hey @JxU4v7X-Bcre
You will lose in the long run. King G is a NOV hit man.
The frost is about on the pumpkin boys! My source says announcement of closing will come at end of October....... Dayton will close the doors by March before the second leg of the new Union contract kicks in. NOV doesn't want to pay the next raise listed in the contract?!
Too many Springfield's brought in to think anything other than Dayton is toast! King G announced in quarterly employee meeting that NOV expected 15mill to bee shipped by end of December, as of this week they were only @ 500 thou for October management including King running scared! Farewell and adue to you fair Spanish ladies...... Thanx Patty Brief, Steve Graham ,Craig Keil you ran this into the ground long before NOV got here!
Colonel Sanders, the production manager got axed October 12, King George says he is assuming that job as well as his, quite a few Moyno management being brought in to Dayton. This place is only showing a 30% on time delivery.... Closing soon!
Hey
Post ID: @JxU4v7X-6uie
They said the same thing to us at Moyno about George as well "He is not going to close the plant"!
Oh and we are gone.
Stop kidding yourself and wake up.
lol, you guys are nuts. Chemineer Dayton is the only gem in the group currently with no other competition within NOV.
George may not be the right guy to manage Dayton but he isn't there to close it.
This sounds like sour grapes from the idiots in Springfield. Get over yourselves.
Said it before will say it again. King George is not at Chemineer to grow the plant is a NOV henchmen that kills them.
I am not sure if it will close completely but I would not be surprised. A great deal of talent was lost with the VERP(both), layoffs as well as great employees leaving on their own. OH is a shadow of what it was and manufacturing has suffered greatly when it was moved to WLY. So many of my customers(agents) have lost all faith in NOV and it will be only a matter of time before it closes
When Moyno in Springfield, Ohio was closed, their manufacturing was moved out of state, but many office employees were moved just 20 miles to Dayton Ohio.
Is the entire Dayton facility that houses Chemineer office/manufacturing and Moyno office closing?
Chemineer in Dayton is a hot mess.
