Thread regarding Noble Energy Inc. layoffs

When? Who?

Does anyone have any idea when the Houston layoffs will be? Any idea of which groups will be hit?

Historically, the main wave has been on the Tuesday of a payday week. If this holds firm, one week from today should be an interesting day. Watch for "Manager's Meetings" later this week.

Warn Notices don't matter. Just because you don't see any filed, doesn't mean your state is safe. noble didn't file Warn Notices for any of their previous layoffs, either...at least not in PA. Do your research.

Its begun

VISA employees cut this morning

Stupid since Noble had spent legal $$$ to move these folks to green cards.

Rather than finish the process of some good workers it CUT CUT CUT

When the industry turns around Noble will remain in the gutter 'cause no one will work for them

The Ego's at Noble Energy have never failed to amaze me. Good Luck to all that will be effected by the changes that are soon to hit weather is it 500 people or 5 people it is not good. It is never easy to go through these things, but being bitter and judgmental will never get you anywhere. May all the hard workers that I have crossed paths with over the years land on their feet in a better place than you will be leaving and all the "know it alls" and a$$ ki$$ers be served a nice slice of humble pie.

this thread shows exactly what is wrong with our company. Fake numbers, no facts, a lot of anonymous name calling... The Noble way right?

The POINT IS that the 2nd poster referenced A "filed Warn act". If there are no existing warn notices for 2015 or 2016 that poster is trying to stir the pot you moronic c*ck squeezer.

Noble is no listed on the current list of Companies that have files for the WARN act recently (http://www.twc.state.tx.us/businesses/worker-adjustment-and-retraining-notification-warn-notices).

And who ever posted the 500 ppl or 33% has no clue what they are talking about.
