Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

GONE - ITOM Software Business

HPE Software just said goodbye to their San Francisco Bay Area ITOM software business.

1 very successful veteran sales rep remains and not a single presales solution architect to in the district; 3 for the region.

Very technical products will require depth of technical knowledge and in almost every case validation then support by the folks who were let go in Yehud and elsewhere.

Decisions in a vacuum while reorganizing debt structure does not equal increase revenue; more like false profits.

Wow, hard to believe a leader in the space is divesting. How can you not have a team in the Bay Area?

I think that has already happened. Much of the top talent left already versus sticking around only the watch the business continue to decline. They saw it and left, those with options leave and B and C players are whats left.

The last thing HPE wants is a "brightsizing" situation (Scott Adams' term), where all of the smart employees decide to beat the chopping block by looking for work elsewhere.
