Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Old but juicy prediction, sales continue to fall with no end insight. Conclusion fewer wafer starts, lower profits and more ACTs to come

Continued slide means fewer 14 and 22 mm volume, higher costs and lower margins. Add to that the crazy 10nm ramp and we are talking ACT2 next year and ACT3 in 2018

Welcome to the slide !

Good conclusion, OP! There is very little success, if any, left in Intel. Chips are now quickly becoming commodities since Intel has gone foundry. They will continue slide and ultimately TMG sold off.

When 10nm shows up if it is as great as the intel shrills say the die will be small and output huge and demand keeps falling this all intel needs is one factory to supply work wide demand! Unless of course yields are terrible, and if they are than margins will be terrible, either way big layoffs or big layoffs is what I see 😉
