You will get a chance to experience an amazing CenturyLink management style - raw dudes with no college degrees and decisions so irrational your head will spin for hours, days and weeks. CenturyLink has never had a great reputation and I would not be surprised if they hit teams in Finance, HR and marketing.

i am seeing first time in India office where centurylink layoff is done from bottom level, all layoff are biased , Indian manager save their favorite people , why no firing at manager ,, lead level...heartless company with heartless Indian management.firing should be done on manager level basis , if company fire one manager , it will save a lot money in india

Level 3 had managers with no college education or prior management experiences. This is a good old boy network that runs this company...So it should be interesting to see how these two companies will mix. It will be managers fighting over their positions for sure while the frontline workers lose their jobs.

The Broomfield campus will be sold as part of the transaction. Not sure who will buy it but this appears to be a done deal, too. one has to wonder if zayo and mr. waters will return to the campus?

Century link is laying off 8k by the end of the year, they are looking to outsource most of the operations overseas. Thats not even including Level 3 merger. All Management, HR, Directors, NOC and Field Techs. Former FTW, Contractors will be let go first with no severance packages or Retention bonuses. Centurylink is the lower paying of most carriers. Some staff have not had raises in over 4 years. You have been warned.
