They want to get rid of people not retain them.
Are there any white eng. left at Q in US? It seems most have left or were laidoff.
Retention does not work as you burn bridges in two companies at the same time.

I hope I get to leave soon. Have some interviews coming up. My commute is going to go up bigly, but it's going to be better for my career. The development here is slow and outdated.
Many people leave not because they want to but because they have to; rest and vest only apply for a minority.
All companies have people leave, while others join. Are you suggesting that attrition is higher than average?
