Net impact---US workers down 6000 jobs!
All thanks to the management team at the once great clipper ship.

The worst part is that all these jobs they cut and replace for cheaper, all the while keeping the huge salaries and stock options for the executive team. I don't work there but have been through it enough times to know it s---s. I love America and capitalism but when did we get so greedy. I think my boss should earn more than me I get it, but 334 times more than me. What happened to Henry Fords theory on Salaries?
For those who lost and will be losing their jobs I wish you all the best in finding new employment. At some point the American people need to take a stand.
Small group of about 4-6. They didn't move either as their personal items are gone but their office supplies and computers are still there.

It doesn't matter whether the team was 5 people or 10 people. Its about how SST is once again
getting rid of hard working loyal employee's .
The shame is how SST never waits until Thanksgiving and Christmas is over before they start
laying off workers.

It's starting. The cuts over the next week will be unprecedented.
A whole team near me in John Adams just got chopped yesterday. We came in this morning and their cubes were all cleaned out.

I agree with you. Back to the original post in this thread--President Elect Trump is now proposing a 35% tax on all corporations who move jobs overseas. Something has to be done about all of these companies that keep sending jobs overseas. Writing to Trump definitely couldn't hurt. I am not sure how much he can do but if he does indeed tax corporations for sending jobs overseas it definitely could save some of the jobs in this country. At least we have to hope so for the many younger workers who are just starting their career. If this trend of sending jobs overseas continues the young college educated worker will continue to have difficulty finding employment.
@Expenses taking long
Before all expenses were paid by in house State Street dept . Then they outsourced it to another
company which demands you fill in everything correctly, dot all the I's to their rules .
If they find one thing they think is wrong or not done to their rules they will reject your expense
account form.
The problem is these new forms are overly complicated to fill out.
I've noticed that expenses are taking much longer to get reimbursed as well. Thought it was just me but I guess not. Seems the clipper ship is taking on water.

The great Clipper Ship surely qualifies--they have been moving hundred... no thousands of jobs overseas for years. Let's all write to President Elect Trump and alert him to the travesty that has been going on. We can stop the flow of jobs overseas--we can once again make the Clipper Ship great again. President Elect Trump will help us just as he helped the Carrier workers!

Yes State Street the once proud ship sailing the ocean of the money world. Workers who were once valued and treated with respect.
Now the great Captain who sailed the great ship retired and we had 4 new Ceo's each worse
than the last. The great ship is just a mile from the iceberg ready to hit it.
The Captain Ceo telling the passengers " Nothing to fear this company is solid and unsinkable.
