Sears President and Chief Member Office Joelle Maher abandons ship

I don't know if there has been an official announcement yet, but this came up in another article. She only lasted a year and a half.

"Sears President and Chief Member Officer Joelle Maher also left the company this week, Sears confirmed to Business Insider. The company declined to give a reason for her departure."

WOW! The CIO leaving is really bad. Expect more crashed registers and other IT problems without a CIO to hold IT together. I expect a Troy data center failure to happen on Christmas Eve. What does everyone think? Will the data center crash again without a CIO?

I am sure the execs on the Kmart side will go next - James and Cook may want to update their resumes soon.

"Whaaaat??? It didn't seem that long ago that she joined the company. It didn't even seem like she was here a year."

It was July of 2015. I remember the announcements when she signed up. Eddie has to dig pretty deep to find people willing to get involved with this mess. She wasn't qualified for this level job. And of course nobody has any chance of making things work at SHC while Lampert is still around.

err no the results will be awful but the new junior cfo will be instructed to say that the company has enough levers to finance the transformation- btw as the losses mount does anyone even eddie really believe that sears could ever return to profitability... thought not- thats sociopaths for you. SHORT THE STOCK.

Eddie would not like that press release. Remember, Eddie likes the term "member" and HATES the term "consumer". Otherwise, you are likely correct. Eddie is a "member" to be sure and will make sure to shop his way with his buddy Mnuchin at Treasury.

Wow...everybody's leaving. I these this is normal for Sears, a herd of people walk out the doors of HQ in Hoffman Estates before an earnings announcement.

Apparently she didn't stroke enough members. So, probably the two highest ranking folks in the company left the week of what is expected to be a disastrous earnings release. Let me predict what will be said: "Our results have not been acceptable, and we are realigning our management team to bring in a stronger focus on the consumer and our transformation. " Sacrificial lambs.
