What do you get from the latest reorg announcement. This is my take. The consolidated IOS-XE, XR, and NXOS never occurred in reality except in the org chart. Bringing together PI/PD boundaries achieved nothing except that not a single group can be accounted. XSpeed and Tesseract lead to quality woes and hidden releases that only confused the users. The "leaders" are incompetent yet good in lying and covering up. Good for the rampant nepotism and villiagism. Severe damage to product development and quality has already been done.

@KJEnT8u-2pgy: Bad sign. A good Manager will manage stakeholders ("provide air cover" in Cisco-speak"), drive/align the team to an agreed upon goal as communicated from on-high, improve and course correcting the team as needed and reward the team based on achievement those goals.
Your manager just sawed off one leg of the four-legged stool.
Why would anyone want to focus on compensation at Cisco right now? If you get a raise, then you're putting a target on your back.
Get paid above the median for your pay grade, and you're as good as gone in the next LR.
The newly promoted senior director (Indian) told us to focus on work and not to think of promotion, RSU, and compensation. He says it is the job of our managers to think of those for us - Duh!
have not heard good reviews of yvette. the mind fills with dread as yet another high level ppt type is appointed as ceasar to lead the hapless engineering legions ...
hope it does not end like this :(

They have a laser like focus on accelerating executive payouts before the total collapse.
