Hey, I still work there and I'm in IT. It's not so rosy. Dave Hawn intervened early in the year and talked a bunch of us into staying. In exchange he flew the coop.
Most of us are now looking. benefits are great so most of us are being picky but believe me most of us will be gone soon.

Didn't no that about Premiere. Sounds fishy like its another way for DOE to give more revenue to there puppet ECMC. Will a new administration end this game?
If you think that is bad you should also know that ECMC has a for-profit subsidiary called Premiere Credit that was just awarded a contract with the department of education to, you guessed it, collect on student loans. Yup, if ECMC doesn't resolve the default, Premiere gets another bite of the apple. Keep in mind that ECMC has made over 2 BILLION dollars collecting on loans. Not revenue, PROFIT. Is anyone else bothered by this?
A great place to work, REALLY? You people are making huge salaries off of the tax payers by preying on students who can't make their school loan payments because the education they got was subpar. And even worse, you have a subsidiary of ECMC called Zenith Education Group that enrolls students that will accumulate huge debt and never be able to pay it back. Zenith Education Group is nothing more than a solicitor for business to ECMC. You people are the lowest of lows.
Remember the grass isn't always greener. ecmc is not perfect but it is still a pretty good place to work. I agree that we need clearer leadership tho. Lots of finger pointing going on. I recommend hiring from the outside. I don't see it in any of the current executives. I think we had the best but he left.
I like Hawn. I miss Hawn. But his decision to relocate us to Minneapolis s---s.
