They will staff 5G with external people - probably dominated by URMs and H1B.

They won't allow anyone from 4G to work on it as these people are somehow to blame even though It's bad leadership. therefore no knowledge transfer - let's make the same mistakes again.

They will build a completely separate 5G modem that won't share common blocks like fft, turbo, harq memory etc. No reuse. This will lead to massive silicon area disadvantage that will never be overcome.

They will target a small market like cars because they can't compete in mobile form factor. The justification will be that these markets are less sensitive to price/power uncompetitiveness. This assessment again discounts the competition.
