Intel should be sued for distroying R&D in Europe. A bunch of acquisitions have been done in Europe: they take the IPs and then fire people in Europe.
In the meantime they try without success to get an Intel processor in a device that is not a PC, and guess what, it does not work... so they blame the software people.
And restart the vicious cycle in another area... Acquire something that was working, fail by trying to enforce Intel inside and then fire.
I have never heard anyone blame the software people for Intel's inability to get their processors into non-PC devices. Everyone knows full well that it is the PC processor guys who just can't manage to rethink their architectures for the challenges of 2016 and beyond. Only BK and Murthy are not able or willing to do anything about that.
Yup, sounds like the Intel MO as of late, even in the US they are also acquiring lots of companies to take their IP, maybe some of their employees, and then they divest or close the place down. Sad, very sad.
