Just got a Weatherford job offer, since the bottom of the market, the only way is up?

There is no update, verbal offer still waiting.
Ask for more than what the offer is and a sign on bonus. They don't give raises so you will be stuck with that salary for 5 years and no bonus. Ask for it now.

Go for it. Pay your bills and save up what you can. Take care of you until you see better
I wish I could go back in time and leave WFT to start an actual career with a decent company.

I used to think that Weatherford would be a good employer. However, my boss has lied to me twice. You can't trust anything that isn't in writing. Beware.
If you can't find anything else take it. I don't think you will be there very long, so continue to search for long term employment.
RUN! This company is dead.
Any job is good. You need money to pay bills and if its the only offer, take it until you find something better.
