Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Pention numbers received

I had requested my retirement figures for my pention about 5 weeks ago and received them today.

Question is, I worked for both Bendix and Allied/Signal. The package had figured for "Bendix Plan" and another sheet for "Signal" sheet. My question is do I add both figures together or do i select one or the other?

I'll call HR on Monday but want to know if anyone knows here? MAn I'm gone if I add both numbers from each plan

"Elect one option as stated on last page last line. Probably the higher number would represent more years of service at the company.

The real question is IF pension changes in 2017 can you announce in 2016 to retire Q1 2017 and keep today's pension plan????

Thanks. No I worked for Garrett then transferred to a Bendix co. Followed by returning to Allied Signal / Hon.

I'll call them tomorrow.

I hope we add together then I can announce retirement,

did you leave and comeback? it depends when and what choices you made. There are scenarios that you could add both. If you left Allied Signal/Honeywell fully vested under the old plan and then came back to Honeywell under the new plan. Really need to call one stop.

It's spelled "P-E-N-S-I-O-N".
