I feel trapped working here. I look around and see others I feel are trapped.

Is that very reliable source willing to pay your salary when trimming starts? Merchandise will take a year or so to switch but people, well they are easy to replace if you ask the board.
I heard from a very reliable source at bps that they won't do anything for a year. I say let's work real hard and show the team our worth. If you are not comfortable with this then start to look.
You can always start browsing/apply for other jobs now. It's not too late!
