The Kmart Pharmacy in Tulsa, Ok., is gone as of Nov 7th. Did all the pharmacy leave Kmart?

Eddie is closing pharmacies as another way to raise money and save on operating costs. Pharmacists salaries are high and there isn't enough business to cover their salaries. Eddie makes money by selling the customer lists to Caremark (ownde by CVS), the largest pharmacy insurance group in the country.
If the pharmacy is closing more than likely the store is next. The pharmacy was the first to close in my area when a store was closing.
Our pharamcay is also being shut down. Heard its like 60 some?
Ours is closing this month too. It is going to hurt the entire store.
My Kmart still has a pharmacy. The pharmacist there told me his job is not secure. He has worked for Kmart for about 27 years and is concerned about having to start over on square one at his age for another company.
At my store we have transitioned from a pharmacy to a local dealer on the front corner of the sidewalk. Its all SBT so we don't have to worry about investing in inventory. Also, no taxes and local dealers will work for much less than a pharmacist. We also have contracts with the local dealer so they buy all their meth making supplies at our store. Its been a big win for our store.
