sizeable Layoff started but disguised as voluntary resignation . person being called by BU HR and threatened with career sabotage and asked to resign.

manager/DMs instructed to selective harass people by making fake escalation from onsite and use mobbing tactics to make employees leave

This practice of fake escalation from onsite to to fire leads and manger is very rampant in fedx account,

local employee making fake complaints on non local leads and manager is endemic in pune .....most of pune companies it is very common for maratis to gang up and make fake complaints to HR and senior managers against non local immediate supervisors.

Also the support groups like RMG, PDAC, quality, infra and admin are loaded with marathis who sabotage non local leads and managers. for south people pune is slowly becoming like working in pakistan/saudi

Very rampant mobbing in Moodys account. all sorts of fools Ap2, Ap3 who talk b---s--- sent onsite on H1 to save cost and make more profit and these dont have domain knowledge and quantum of work involved and do post man job and . Only talk and cunning behavior. No real knowledge or ability to guide offshore based on knowlede gained at client place. The onsite syndicate controls who become lead and who gets recognition.

Very un professional. A Senior lead fired based on fake escalation by immature AP2 who accepted a large change to be delivered overnight.....pure sh--....Acount mgmr and delivery manager purely play around scape goating...

Absolute nonsense. I was an acct manager in Syntel in BNFS. No mobbing techniques. The escalations at client side are real. The actual issue is that the delivery teams struggle to understand the client needs. Syntel needs to strengthen their middle management layer. People get promoted when they put the gun on management rather than pure merit. People who gets promoted this way don't have formal training in management, where tribal management techniques take over. Syntel should invest and groom their people.
