First CDW is just a technology e-tailer and nothing more. There is competition and it's gaining every day especially Amazon. CDW's pricing isn't the best and it's customers know. CDW tries to differentiate itself by services it offers, but not enough.
The model is antiquated, compensation still based on model when owned by Krasney when revenues were half of what they are today. Sales AM's are hired out of college. Turn over is high because base is so ridiculously low. Management trying to extend training to lower turnover but getting mixed results.
As for executive management they are well compensated just for loyalty not for ability. Most talented end up leaving.
