Letters were sent out to asms affected .. lost one at my store today however letter said effective Tuesday
So my question is when will they let the cat out of the bag? And notffy the ones that are effected? For the ones who are truly dedicated in the leadership role, who will make the decision for the individuals who do stay? Surly hope for the future of the company, the right decision to keep those that pull their weight.
All the DMs here s---! Karma finally caught up but if anything the ASMs are the ones who should lose their jobs since they task the DMs to do Everything while they hide in receiving or other offices.
I've been a dept mgrs for lowes for years and not been promoted to support my husband's availability as he's a store manager. I just wanted to comment on the bonus structure has dwindled down rapidly over the years and I think people are a bit clouded on thinking 'they' get extraordinary bonuses. This change coming is hard and I think a bit backward yet there are alot of managerial positions that avail too much opportunity for slack. It hurts, the decisions that have been made but the change in structure should get more employees on the floor and hopefully engage some of these managers that forgot their purpose when they see no one's job is secure as an at will employee.
The only protection Lowe's employees have is with a union. It's obvious that bonuses for upper management is more important than employees. Just think about how much has been taken from Lowes employees over the last 8 years....Just Think.
Are they really going to remove the managers and zone managers positions? They already don't have enough coverage in the stores and now they want to eliminate jobs!!!!! It's no wonder that upper management keeps getting all there bonuses and incentives and the people who work their butts off so that they can get let go. TOTALLY UNFAIR!!!! It's that old saying the rich get richer and the little guy gets stepped on!!!! Sorry I just made that up but oh so true!!! Also maybe they should just let the managers who don't do their jobs or the workers who don't stay in their own departments and do the job they were hired to do, just saying!!!!! Wake up Lowe's and don't do your managers wrong!!!

Yup more talk of layoff coming soon. India will be a complete failure for Lowes.
