Here's a saying that the superintendent use to tell us. If you don't like find another job because theirs someone ready to take your spot that wants to be here. You were hired to work and with that said he can also be replaced I think they forget who actually runs the railroad and that's the men and woman who are in train service. Day and night, weekends and holidays year round. I know my job and I work but I also have a family and I like to see and spend time with so when I have had enough I take a day to spend with them. So these layoffs in Omaha that have upper management on the street just remember who put you there and thank them on behalf of your family

They don't want to give any meaningful raises in the contract yet the CEO has gotten a 100% raise over the last four years. Time for all the unions to come together as one and strike.

Very Well said, look elsewhere, a wasted 13 years. My heart goes out to the men and women on the TEY side that are about to experience unsettling news. This place is run by greed driven people whom have no care for you or your families. Massive Layoffs are coming from all directions. Do not follow the rise in the stock price our executives manipulate it on a daily basis.

Sadly, losing a job with UP or any other railroad for that matter, is not the great loss it would have been 20 years ago. The railroads aren't nearly as attractive as they used to be. The leaders are short sighted, aiming to fill their pockets and then move on to retirement or some other nest egg opportunity. And, If you're thinking about hiring on with these crooks.....Think Again!

UP has forced FG1 and FG2 to work their 4th day for a total of 48 hours per week in LA. All Union Contracts are on hold. The hope for the railroad to survive is Trump and Coal. If Trump does nothing, Rail is dead and more layoffs will come.

I can't take this nonsense, they have a group researching and developing a way for TEY employees to work 8 hour shifts.

You know it's about to get bad when the stock is at an all time high and our executives are selling high volume everyday. Regardless to the market it's about to get bad, eyes haven't seen ears haven't heard but I'm applying elsewhere.

They need to clean out Omaha too many bosses bosses there. That's the reason the UP is in the situation it's in now.
