Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Oregon jobs at Garmin

I posted this on another thread. I am sorry some of you folks are having a tough time finding a job in Oregon. I suddenly realized that one of my colleagues works for Garmin, and he mentioned they have a location in Salem, which I think is about an hour away from Portland...which would be an average commute time in bay area..

Here. Check them out. They are a very solid company and folks seem to say they treat their employees fairly well.

Good luck

Garmin is nowhere near finished.

They are st the top of their game, and unlike other wearable companies they are the only company that has seen consequtive growth for the past 4 quarters. Even Apple DECLINED in the wearable markets. And out of all the wearable companies, they were the only one to branch successfully fr.a traditional GPS company (which is still their bread and butter business that pays the bills)

To now consumer wearables which they have been killing their competitors at.

I don't have a vested interest just reporting the facts.

Garmin doesn't pay close to Intel salaries... While they make decent products, their volumes and margins are minimal compared to AAPL...
