Solar panel costs are.coming drastically down, it's at a point which having a acres of solar flare in the desert would.sctually make.sense as a cheap form of power.

For example, the problem with fuel cell technology is currently the methods of obtaining hydrogen is not really clean. The o my way to do this is by doing things like breaking h20 molecules or the likes. But that takes more energy than the hydrogen is released.

But, if you now factor in solar generated power in that process, that opens the door for a lot of interest scenarios.
