Trump Tech Summit...Chuck who?

President Elect Trump had a Tech Summit a few weeks ago at his tower in NYC so all the "heavyweights" of Silicon Valley could come and kiss his ring; Tim Cook (Apple), Cheryl Sandberg (Facebook), Larry Page (Google), Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Elon Musk (Tesla/SpaceX) and more were there including our very own CEO, Chucky Cheese.

What I find humorous is that Chuck and Cisco are rarely if ever called-out in stories detailing the discussion and Chuck never appears in the pictures. He was like the elderly widow down the street someone invited to Thanksgiving dinner and fell asleep on the couch.

Nobody knows who we are anymore.

We must remember, Chuckles was a math major, as he likes to constantly tell us during our company meetings....perhaps he kept his trap shut because he was quietly doing the math on the financial impact of not having access to h1b resources to create crap code and products.

No, the real reason for his Zeligness during this meeting was because he didn't want to cheese off his vaunted new Millennial workforce of twenty-somethings who can't imagine that their "hip-hey-I-was-an 'engineer'-for-at-least-two-weeks-before-becoming-a-salesman" CEO could ever possibly breath the same air in a room with DJT.

Thanks for mentioning that article. On another thread, it's been mentioned that Cisco is killing WebEx & Jabber in favor of Spark. The Spark BU will have to work really hard. Slack & it's VP of Product, while mentioned last, was mentioned whereas nothing and no one from Cisco was mentioned.

Web-Ex & Jabber at least have market demand.

Not sure if anyone saw Business Insiders article 2017 35 most powerful men in tech. Chuck not Cisco was in it. We're just the pipework now, apps are everything now.
