Are Layout Leads & Data Integrity Leads let go before liquidation? We would like to know, we are about the only full-timers left after the recent layoffs

Get out now unless the stress and b.s. you must put up with is worth the 40 hours. If working until you can't think, working until you can't stay awake, dealing with every nighmare customer, dealing with everyone who wants to return good, (which they cant), working weird hours and hours when they want is worth it then stay. If not then either get a new job or contact a lawyer with others in you store and start a class action suit against SHC for unfair labor practices.
It is unfair in most states to make you work unrealistic hours or for unrealistec terms to collect unemplyment. When our store closed last year a woman who was disabled and a man who was older and a person who could not work certain hours or lift heavey things or whatever did not qualify for unemplyment because they would not put up with the B.s. and they have a lawsuit pending along with every other employee that was let go for b.s. reasons. Could cost SHC or whoever millions to defend. The local free legal services and other lawyers are preparing the suit now.

If you quit you will not be eligible for unemployment and will most likely lose severance pay if you are full time.
They will hire more associates to help with closure.
No more layaway or special services. The layaways you have will continue till payout.
Very few returns and supposedly no price adjustments.

All merchandise must be hard marked.
Its been a nighmare but somewhat less stressful. Shop your way is still in effect but there is no pressure otherwise.
The customers expect big markdowns but it doesnt happen fast.

Yes, or they offer you another position, basically a grunt to move fictures and shelving for minimum wage.
