Useless SJW. Couldn't figure out computing technology was moving towards touch-technology and mobile after many years of $$$ wasted on her research.

Collected multi tens of millions and helped BK with having a women fellow... that was all the butch was worthy of.
lol damn. so many angry jealous men who've achieved nothing posting on this thing! no lives and failures..all of you.
@1ite - UX is recognized at Intel - I agree. It is not a competency, however.
Splitting hairs, but we are a precise lot, aren't we? ;-)
Saw her present a few times over the years and it was always the same tired presentation !
@1ite - Hmmm ... it should take a few months to get that figured out.
The competency of UX is, in fact, recognized by Intel. That doesn't mean that the competency gets transferred their products. Nor does it mean they ate actually good at UX. She apparently didn't finish the job, by ensuring those things, but she was rewarded generously for taking 14 or so years to get it introduced and understood. It's unbelievable, really. She not only survived, but she thrived!
"User Experience as a recognized competency at Intel"
Huh? Ever try to work with an Intel IOT Gateway?
Her Wikipedia page boats that: "She and her colleagues helped re-orient Intel to a more market-inspired and experience-driven approach and she is widely credited with establishing User Experience as a recognized competency at Intel."
And there's this...
"...in 2010, when Intel made her the director of their newly forming User Experience Research group.. This group was Intel’s first fully integrated user experience research and development group; they worked on questions of big data, smart transportation, next generation image technology and ideas about fear and wonder. After steering that group to a range of successes inside and outside the company, she was made a Vice President in 2014 and Senior Fellow in 2016."
Sounds like she's done nothing of material value; just ideas about fear and wonder, whatever that means.
what she does, has done and has achieved.. amazing to see tech/analytical companies/folks unable to figure out these posers, a lot of these type of ilk rose way up along with the rising tide.. svalley is peppered with these posers....
Keeps fellow title but I doubt her $M pay is kept. Former fellows still have connections with Intel and may be brought on for short term consulting.
I can't believe Intel is going to keep her as sr fellow. I guess she will continue to do what she has done in her 18 years at Intel - a big nothing other than lame presentations about her life. If it weren't for intel's name and PR, no one would have her as a presenter. " data eats world": a title for her valuable insights, an enduring contribution presented to no other than our MCM team. I guess data must be starting to eat the world from the North Pole southward. she is moving to Australia for her safety:) What crap. In any other company, this would have been treated like a joke it is.
I am so glad that she is leaving the other clown behind as our corporate strategy officer to continue to help Intel with junk like market watch. Only at Intel. The worst of it is none of our leaders are smart enough to see through the b---s---. Only on this board, I see and share truth..
Actually, Sr. Fellow is grade 13 (same as Sr. VP). I would be doing "Woohooo!" as well.
Hey, we can afford fatso for $25m, we can afford her too.
Never fear, this big thinker will stay a Senior Intel fellow. Hey, we can afford her and the first class tickets a few times a year for her wisdom.
From the article:
New year, new jobs. I'm Oz bound to be Prof at ANU (@anucecs) & collaborate with @Data61news. Will remain Sr Fellow @intel too. Woohoo!!

Intel anthropologist? Hahaha what an expensive joke!
Yup, your stockholder value at work.
Figure as a grade 12 making more than a million per year, not to shabby for doing nothing
She is a genius. 18 years with a fellow's salary for nothing but BS! Nice work if you can get it.
The rest of you slaves can get back to work now.
@djm - She is known for being a feminist SJW
Can anyone tell me what she accomplished during her 18 year stay at Intel.
What one thing is she known for doing ?
