Sears Class Action Suit

Everyone who has been Sr**wd by SHC should get a lawyer and start a class action suit. Call your local news outlet and labor board. Raise a stink no matter what.

Keep a detailed set of notes and document everything that even remotely seems wrong. Print out corporate e-mails, take not of every violation or labor laws or OSHA laws. Call ever state, local or federal department you can to bring attention to this disaster.

Call local newspapers, t.v. news or consumer complaint boards to get anyone to pay attention.

Unfortunately legal and moral are not always the same. While it may be inmoral to treat your employees like nothing more than a number and set unrealistic metric goals for them it is not illegal. As far as going to labor boards I doubt any member of management would be willing to put anything incriminating in writing such as schedules that do not allow for breaks or preventing an employee who gave up on getting breaks a long time ago from using the restroom becouse they decided go on a bathroom break as soon as a coworker in the department got back from lunch. Karma will come around, I have gotten sick at work, luckily there were people there including the person who brought the bug in, and was able to make it to the restroom before I threw up, and a manager let me go home early. If that happens again only when there wasn't coverage I will have to leave the department unmanned, and if management says that I cannot leave it unmanned then I will have them chooses what garbage can they want to scrub puke out of.

No lawsuit here. IF you don't like it then get another job. Only chance of anyone getting anything is some shareholders if they can prove "unlawful conveance" but that is a long shot.

Sears leadership is incompetent, they're morons, they care nothing for their employees. None of that is illegal. While there might be an action against Eddie for some of the moves he's made with debt, equity and SRG, any fines from that would go to SEC, not to employees. Don't live in the past, move on. This s---er is on life support, and will not recover. Move on.

What does s****ed mean from a litigation perspective? From terrible leadership to ripping our associate discount from us , yes SHC is horrible but what examples do you have that would trigger a genuine case of litigation?

Should this proposed "Class Action" prevail after years of litigation? Where does the settlement/award money come from? This company is teetering on BK. Any claimant will have to get in line with all the other general creditors.....Good luck.
