Received APB bonus check today (former ERP employee)

I was ISP'd with ERP benefits last year and received my APB pro-rated check today, in case anybody is wondering about the status of the bonus for retirees.

I too noticed the bonus check had fewer deductions than usual. Perhaps because I also see it was now characterized on the stub as earnings, which are taxed at a lower rate than money characterized as a bonus?

My pro-rated amount was correct. Find your last pay letter to see what your APB target was and multiply. I was in TMG and I found the multiplier posted a couple of weeks ago. I also found it interesting that they only withheld 16% for federal taxes instead of the normal 25%.

If you are worried about them trying to get money back then move your money into a different checking account. Unless it was a gross amount of over payment it's not worth it for them to try to fight you for it.

How can you tell if it is "pro-rated"? I got a check today, which is really nice, but nothing on it that I can tell indicates it's only pro rated. It is under the heading of APB - Annual. Just don't want them coming back later saying they over payed and I owe.

Pro-Rated APB showed up in the mail........was nice to see, and as in above, overall very good treatment at Intel over 27 years of work..... I do miss quite a few of the people , which at this point are scattered all over the world , literally.......

I quit just after the the 1st of January, I previously got my quarterly bonus for Q4 , the 2016 401K contribution, and today the APB was deposited to my account. I worked at Intel for 5 years, they hired me when I was 59 years old, I was treated treated with respect and dignity the entire time I was an Intel employee , especially by the H1B's - I think the Indian and Asian cultures values age and experience more than we Americans do. The trolls here can take flying fug at the moon, as Ernest Hemingway would say.
