The point is that Intel's leadership is largely mediocre; their projects are unsuccessful and they compensate it by laying off engineers.

Intel management is going out of the way to bring up (not necessarily deserving) women at the expense of many good engineers that happen to be men. Which is the reason a lot of worthy people have left.

Amazons sales have been growing by a huge factor year over year. There profits were low because they were investing in infrastructure.

Intel's sales are on a decline in case you weren't aware.
