WFH Policy

Looks like they started terminating people who "didn't follow the WFH Policy". They announced another one on a call yesterday. Director level. I was hoping the "have to work in an office for absolutely no reason" would have died down by now and we could all go back to being productive. Guess not.

Since terminations have supposedly commenced due to noncompliance with the WFH Policy, has anyone heard of any other employees terminated other than this Director? I haven't heard of any others yet. Surely someone has heard something...

WFH was rescinded so they would know where to find you when the RIF's started.

What business lost a WFH director?

Weird. We have a whole new layer of middle management obsessed with creating org charts and these geniuses keep finding new ways to lose the guys who are doing the heavy lifting. Getting a pink slip is looking like the best possible alternative at this point.

Those empty offices and cubicles Darrius saw were empty because the occupants were laid off or terminated

DMC made that visit late on a Friday afternoon in the summer, at a time when people sitting in Morris Plains would have gone home already thanks to summer hours. Such BS.

Yep. If working at a desk in an office was that valuable, Dave should have been in NJ that afternoon.

I'd heard a rumor that this "No WFH" policy resulted from an aerospace site visit by DC. Rumor stated that he was irritated by the number of empty offices and cubicles. He was told those folks were working remote that day.

Wonder if severance was paid. They pay to keep you quiet.

I'm considering calling a news Chanel and see if they want to talk. They just opened s new Honeywell office in my city and talked it up. Maybe a follow up is needed.

I'm still WFH so I've not caused any waves.
