Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Be courteous and respectful

Be courteous and respectful to those who are laid off on Thursday. Statistically your time will come in your career. If you don't know what to say then don't say anything, following up with a LinkedIn message or email if you were relatively close would be a nice supportive touch. Don't shun your work mate, or laugh at them once they are gone to carry favor with the dynamics of your new team, while our company has no integrity or morals there's no reason we can't display it for our soon to be ex colleagues

All good points. I really wish the best for all of those impacted. Take some time for yourself even if it is just over the weekend. Clear your head and look forward to one sure thing - life is better outside of Sears. You will see your stress levels go away and will once again enjoy working in an environment where you are appreciated and the workplace isn't chaotic and toxic.

It is just a matter of time for everyone in that organization anyway so look at it as you are getting an early start.

I know......I was let go a while back and went through it. Again wishing the best for those who are impacted.
