Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

''We have a problem with cash flow and we need a quick fix'' (UPDATE).

Personally, I haven't heard such a horrible ''ideea'' in BHI. Not BHI VP talk about layoffs as a ''quick fix''.

I am very young (under 35), I work before in BHI and I left last year (my job wasn't at executive level). After BHI I had a ''big jump'' to ''the top'' in another oil and gas company that is twice than Baker. Today I am going to quit the job I am not a good fit with the company, I don't like how the management in the top treat their employees, this is not leadership. Their ''real'' values doesn't match my value and no point to go ahead. I don't like their way of work. I will quit and I am going to start my consultancy business, I had enough in last 2 months. I am to disappointed now.

What does this have to do with Baker Hughes? Person quit BHI previously and now is not satisfied with their current job the way I read it. The grass is NOT always greener in the other pasture.
