Any info on when and if layoffs will happen in Mexico? Yes I'm a Mexican "stealing" a job from a US citizen(sarcasm), I'll give it back if I get laid off.

Honeywell is 2 or 3 steps ahead of the US Gov't in that game. The hustle they have going is great for ALT. The POTUS doesn't have a clue....
I for one am happy trump will levy taxes on Honeywell for outsourcing to Mexico, India, china, and the rest.
Honeywell thinks it is smart by bringing the product back into the us and then selling it, well the us congress will change that.
I havecwrittrn numerous letters to trump and my congressman describing how Honeywell tries to skirt the "made in the USA" laws and how they are selling product and software produce overseas with non us labor (cheap scabs) and then selling it as us made✈, what crap.
No more Honeywell schemes. They will do it right of pay higher tariffs. If we lose our jobs to get thiscright, do be it, well worth it to be honest and protect America, besides the savings are not passed on to the customers.
Don't know what you are talking about, There has not been even one layoff of Torrance production folks from product moving to Mexicali.
Torrance shipped $50M+ last month (record month) The plan has always been to move production to Mexicali. I would say it will still take another 5-7 years. I'm sure they will just manage the attrition rate. They have not backfilled even one position from all the 2016/2017 RIF's and regrettable departures.
I promise you will take less vacstion now if you've been at honeyhell very long at all because your supervisor has a log and they are graded in a reduced % of hours spent on vacation in his area.

To get a job, you sign over all of your inventions to the company. Then they fire you and send it overseas. Then the bass tards act like you should be grateful for the privilege. Are artists and musicians forced to sign over their rights and let someone else collect the royalties from their work, NO. Think about the French Revolution. Try not to talk about Honeywell or its leaders without including the words Traitors, Treason, Thieves, or Criminals. Use it in your everyday speech and writing until the facts are accepted as FACTS! Do not let it be distorted to disinformation and scape-goating. No Mexican or Indian ever stole your job. You have been BETRAYED, by the corporate leadership, and by the corrupt government that is bribed and owned by this treasonous 1%. And now out of desperation, America has put itself in the hands of the corrupt billionaires that are the root of all problems and manipulate you by turning you against yourselves with concepts of racism, crime, border security, etc.
Maybe show up for long hours, but working hard???? Problem is that everyone has to work hard, most sites I've been to have a few "Go-To" guys that carry the place. Most of these young guys love to say "That's not my job" or "I don't get paid to do that"

The fellow is correct... our jobs would still be ours if corporations weren't offshoring them. They are only receiving what our CEO's are handing them. It's not the Mexicans, Chinese, Indians, or even Obama's fault. It's guys like Cote (Trump included) lining their pockets with our collective inventions, innovations, and intellect, pulling the rug out from under us. What these companies make today, the products we sell, are a community effort that has evolved over 40, 50, or 100 years depending on which Honeywell company you work for. It belongs to the people who made it be what it is today, not to these "company brokers". The worst part is that they are company employees like the rest of us. They created nothing, when we actually have. If you own your own company, then you deserve all its profits. The way Microsoft, apple, or even Facebook were at one time. The Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerbergs of the world deserve the money they make. Their creations, their property. Cote and the rest do not deserve $30 million paychecks, they created nothing, they are employees like me. They're the ones stealing mine, yours, and our children's jobs. All this propietary information that is "Honeywell's" should actually be OURS too. The Europeans were onto something with their Appellation Controllee's and such (I'm sure I misspelled that). It's not Champagne if it's not made in France, and it's not Parmigiano Reggiano if it's not Italian. The authentic products are valuable, and protected from offshoring indefinitely. My 2 cents.
To be fair, most employees in other nations are far more grateful and hard working than Americans these days. We have become a nation of people that feel "entitled" and are digging our own graves by acting so. A strong work ethic is being lost here (along with other core values, but those are topics for other sites).
Enough about blaming the Mexicans. They did not steal your jobs, corporate executives gave them your jobs out of pure greed. Why do you scapegoat the Mexicans, you were screw'd over by your own men! And what color and nationality are the executives? What color and nationality are DC, TM, MM, HP? China or India did not steal your jobs, your traitorous, treasonous leaders did!
