The revenue numbers are a double whammy. Sales are down, but so are prices of many commodity items to try and stay competitive.

They will close some of these underperformers to get out of leases and then try to open a 365 in the same spot or nearby because they want to do things on the cheap now..gotta please those wall street guys with the earnings per share...but notice the revenue numbers..

hopefully the disaster at highland place south of salt lake city is next. That was also a wild oats and is a beautiful store, but does zero business.

This was a former Wild Oats location that probably shouldn't have been turned into a Whole Foods to begin. There are currently three stores located in Evanston and the other location mentioned in the article is nearby on Chicago's North side. Whole Foods should have shut this location a few years ago but closing stores is bad for your image.
