Lowe's contracted a third party staffing firm to conduct all the interviews for the 5 department manager positions, to expedite the roll out, to remain fair and consistent, and to meet the Feb. 1 deadline.

They hired 3rd party consultants for corporate.... it may just be a smoke screen.
What s---s about this is that a 3rd party firm does not know your work ethic. You could be such a strong worker while others are lazy and they could get the position because of the interview. It's a crock. I'd rather have the ASM's or store manager interview.

It all a game, the store Mgr already has his picks, this is just a OR thing!
The third party interviewers won't know who works or who sits on their a--. They may be good at interviewing but not good at working and we're stuck with the crap. Hope the Store Managers have some input
this way Lowes can say they are being "fair". Sore manager already has his 5 "keepers picked out at our store.
So I have a shot then.. Better them picking favorites.
Feb 1st? Not Jan 28th, first day of fiscal year?
