Think about this for a minute.WHY? Why STAY at LOWES? Because in the long run were seeing NOW, doesn't matter to thhs company!I heard alot associates are now gonna boycott Lowes and advise customers what Lowes has done. Good luck! LOWES IS A JJOKE!

If this is the mentality of the ones who lost their jobs (referring to original post), Lowes is better off without you.
You guys saying they did the right choice I have to disagree. Managers did a good amount and I have heard from other managers that ran more than 1 department in the past is it extremely difficult and stressful. I do not know from experience but I guess we will find out how the stores handle less managing. I just hope CSA's don't get manager work with being paid not nearly the same... Thats my fear.
Lowe's is going in the right direction after today because we don't need department managers like you never see on the floor the don't have no knowledge of there department they don't know the difference between a breaker and a breaker box or a flapper valve and fill valve when it comes to toilets that's why cycle counts are so screwed up and they can't do rps when opening the department managers are a bunch of big losers with a big head now maybe lowes stock will climb up and stock like home depot bye bye department managers this should of happened 20 years ago so much for 1.25 mountain dew in the break room now you have to go to 711 and pay 1.75 sorry 711 don't have chairs to sit on losers
Department managers got what they deserved because 99% of them are slack asses in worked at 4 different Lowe's and my best department manager was 67 years old and I'm 53 and him and I got her done weather down stocking or making department grand opening ready for next business day we both had disability but we got it done now a days the department managers just want to stand around and not do sh-- this should of happened along time ago! Way to go lowes you made the right choice
